Ring and Pinion for 89 GTA??? What do you Suggest?

Ring and Pinion for 89 GTA??? What do you Suggest?
I've got an 89 GTA and want to change the gear... What do you recommend? I hardly drive the car on the highway, would a 4.10 be ok??? Any information would be great...

what engine and tranny and rear?
u should have a 9 bolt rear end and gears / posi are a bit costly. might be better and looking for a complete rear end with the gear u want.
for stock tpi u want to only go so high like 3.73's for example.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 4:10
if you're not on the highway much a 4.10 is good, but I personally like a 3.73, ecspecially if its an automatic

Transmission: Rebuilt 700r4 with stage 3
I have an 87 GTA. I have a 3.73 in the rear end of my car.. You would be surprised how much that helps out... 4.10 is not as good on gas as the 3.73.... then again we are driving thirdgens, so who is worried about gas mileage
