Who has rebuilt there posi ???

My posi is dead and i want to rebuild if i can.I'd like
to know how hard it is,and how much the parts run.

i have the same question, mine is a 10 bolt disk brakes

you can't rebuild a 9 bolt posi can you?

You'd probably spend more money on parts to rebuild the posi than to buy the $100 take off unit from SLP.

For 10 bolts, I'd go with the torsen from SLP, no clutches to wear out and they swap right in. For $100 or so, you can't go wrong.

You can rebuild 9 bolt posis, and a good fix is to shim them a bit tighter and clean up the cones. Larry Burd has shims if anyone needs them. It's not easy so to speak, so you've been warned.

I've searczed slp site today and the $99 posi is no longer listed there
What about some rebuild kit? how much are they?

I have a stock 10 bolt rear.I miss the SLP take off by
2 posi units.That sucks,But thats life.
