ok there's this guy at a local shop that said that he would trade his 12 bolt for mine. Mine is a truck rear end and his is a car rear end. I have an 80 malibu so I need one with the 4 link ears like his does. What other cars did the 12 bolt come in with the ears on it other than the 64-72 a-body? that's the only one ain it? It's width is correct for that year and this car rear end is much stronger than my truck rear.

I realize that this is not a malibu or even a g-body website but I have been visiting this site for years and have got plenty of helpful information here. seeing that most parts interchange or can be adapted (like my t5 from a camaro in my malibu) I figured maybe I might be able to find some good info.
