700r4 slipping from park to drive?
well today i was driving to my buddies house and i heard something fall on the way, i know im not crazy i swore something fell. i parked the car and when i got in to leave i put my shifter from park to drive and it slipped all the way into nuetral, it skiped reverse.. i couldnt even push it from N to D, i had to press the shifter down and hassle my way into D, should i be worried or is this something wrong with my shifter. going from D to P is no problem, just getting from P to D is the problem , seems like i have to pull my shifter all the way down to get onto D. how worried should i be?

Most likely it has somthing to do with the gear selecter assembly and not the transmission. Maybe a part fell off or bent. Im not 100% sure I'll let someone with more info post.
