governor recalibration kit

has anyone ever installed a governor recalibration kit from b&m. I rebuilt a 700r4 and put in the b&m transpak and have played with the TV cable put still shifts way to early. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The B&M kit does not address the TV system. If you cannot get the TV cable adjustment to change the light throttle upshifts, then I would add the Trans-Go Shift kit at a minimum. What year are you working on?, and what are you trying to accomplish?

the transmission is out of a 91 caprice. I am looking for a higher shift point other then 2000 rpm.

I had the same problem with my trans. It did the same thing before and after my last rebuild.

I tried the B&M recalibration kit and it does not fix the problem you are having.

If it's the part throttle shift you want to fix it may be that the TV system is not functioning properly as Probuilt said.
