B&M shift kit question.
when it says to put the check ***** back for the 1987 model trans it leaves out 2 ***** is this right? Mine is all bact together but the trans is out of the car and i dont want to have to pull it back out and drop all of the check ***** again. Does anybody know if leaving 2 of the ***** out of the valve body for the street strip application?
I can't say 100%, but I believe you are correct. I did this kit myself, out of the car like you, and I'm pretty sure that you do leave 2 of them out. Please don't swear by me, I would ask Dana from probuilt transmissions. Do a search on this board for him.

cool thanks. I just dont want to have to pull the pan again. The kit was pretty easy just alot to do and the instructions could have been a little clearer.
Ya, I agree. I had a little trouble with a couple parts. Of course, I can't remember what those parts are, but I know I had a little trouble with them. That kit made a huge difference though, great 1st to 2nd shift!!
