Would a 400 trans fit into an 91 L98? Thanks

If you use a 400 tranny youre gonna have torque arm problems. B&M makes a torque arm relocation bracket kit for the 4oo tranny. I think its something like 70 dollars from jegs. There is also going to be crossmember problems I think. I know you can buy aftermarket crossmembers made for the 400 in our cars. Also be prepared to cut a driveshaft. I'm pretty sure that it wont work, seems like one time I was told that it has to be cut a couple inches, but, that may be a cloudy memory.

 

b&m adapter is for the th350 not 400. aftermarket torque arm would be the way to go.
