I have adjusted my shift cable according to the tech article but my WOT shift is at around 6200. My part throttle shifts are great. If I adjust the cable so that my WOT is around 5000 then my part throttle shift are messed up. When I pull from a red light at part throttle the car jerks until it shifts gears. When I first got the transmission from Pro-Built it was shifting around 4000. He sent me another governor gear and it seemed to be okay for a while but now it is shifting way too high when I am at WOT. Any ideas what could be the problem? How many different types of governor gears are there? Any chance I could still have the wrong one?
