Hello Everyone,
I just had the trans in my 89 2.8v6 rebuilt (76,000 miles). They used a aftermarket TV cable which wouldnt work on my car to start with.
They got a new factory one and installed it. The car will kick down now, but it kick's into the next higher gear at 5k and not the 5500K it used to do.
Also when I hit 60Mph now it kicks out of 2nd and into drive, before I had it rebuilt it wouldnt kick out of 2nd till like 70-75Mph.
I am guessing that its working the way it should be now?
Just seems like its shifting into the next hear a little too soon still, maybe it was because the Trans was due for the rebuild was why it would hold so much longer before
Thanks for any input on this
Donnie H.
