Junkyard Rear-end swap Question
I have to swap in a new rear-end soon so I was just wondering if it's pretty self-explanatory?? I'm not an incredibly experienced mechanic, everytime i've worked on cars I've had my dad or his friend there, but im gonna have to go at this one alone.
Does everything just bolt on nice and easy right where it came unbolted from? Do I need any new parts? bushings? gaskets? that type of thing? thanks in advance for any help.

It pretty much bolts up in place. I just got done doing it a couple months ago. It would make it a whole lot easier to have some help. The rear end isn't the lightest to try to put in place while trying to bolt it up and line it up.

OK that's what i was hoping to hear, thanks guys. And yes, im going to be sure to have an extra hand there 
btw ede: ok I didn't think i'de need any gaskets, i got the rear end cover gasket just because im gonna have to open the rear so that im positive on what gears it has, and to add new fluids.

the gaket is a waste of money RTV seals better. I have even seen it used in magazines that the people from moser recommended just using the RTV. IT SEALS BETTER.

Hmm would it be tough to get off though next time I want to take the cover off?
I could just send it back for some credit... dont think it'de even be worth it though.

i dont think either is a bad idea but since you already have the gasket id just use it ....

well, I use the gasket and rtv and I have no leaks squared! 
RTV will work fine by itself too though, just let it skin for a couple minutes before you assemble it..
I think if they made a better gasket (maybe something like the one-piece oil pan gaskets as opposed to paper?), more people would have success with the gasket alone...
