Is anyone running a set of these? I just got a zexel torsion posi and a set of 3.73s motive gears off the classifieds. Thunderracing sells the motive gears for 190$.

Do the motives whine a lot like richmonds? And are these gears pretty strong?

I probably shouldn't be worried about my gear strength since I have a weak posi unit BUT I couldn't pass this deal up. 300$ shipped for the zexel torsion, brand new 3.73 motive gears, and a deluxe ratech install kit.

their is no way they can whine as loud as the richmonds. I had those for about 1 week and then sent the pumpkin back , the guys never asked me if i would mind the whine, and i did. I had a chick in the car with the richmonds and shes like whats that sound. So i told her. Its deffy not something that just the owner will hear , everyone will hear it. It got annoying fast .

 

what kind of gears are you running now?

 

um , thats a really good question, what are some of the brands. i really dont remember. I had some from randys and they f ucked up the whole order and then i ordered it from another place . I really dont remember.

 

I got motive's. They're great and don't whine like the richmond's do.
