Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.08
stall converter

my cam is .488/.488 lift and 234/234 duration @.050 is a 2400 stall speed converter suffient enough?

Transmission: Probuilt 700R4 - 2800 Stall Midwest
Axle/Gears: 3.42
That should be fine. With your setup I probably would have went a little larger but I don't know what gears you have. It also depends where your torque peaks out at on the dyno.
