my nine inch is all in and almost ready to go. There is a hold up though, the U joint retaining straps from the ten bolt dont work on the nine inch. Are these straps a common peice that I can get locally or am i going to have to order them? and from who for both questions

 

nevermind I think i found it, so for anyone doing a search for this in the future you can get them at an auto parts store they are sold by motormite p/n 81004

 

Moroso makes a beefier strap unit thats a little nicer than just u-bolts... But they cost a little more than plain u-bolts... Summit/Jegs/most auto stores have them...

FWIW they make them for 1330 9" as well as 1350 series aftermarket 9"
