anybody put in a richmond 5-speed?

anybody put in a richmond 5-speed?
i'm doing a auto-to-standard conversion; i got a new richmond 5-speed, and a hurst shifter (391-5032). bad time to ask, but will these two work together? it appears i need something else for this shifter to work.
