TCC lock up questions
Have no TCC after a tranny swap.
My friend bought a cheap camaro -88 with a non working TH700, I had my old TH700 from my ta-89 ( worked perfect least year!) just laying so we put it on his camaro and lost the TCC?
Brake switch OK
ECM engage the TCC
Ground terminal F on ALDL and the fuse for the gauges blows?
any ideas?
Will check all wiring this weekend, what could it else be?

I think there is a temp switch in the valve body that won't let lockup happen till trans is like 120 degrees. That could be taco'd or maybe the tcc solenoid is shorted internally, blowing the fuse.

The EGR runs off the 'gages' fuse also. Check the EGR wiring around the plenum for shorted wires....this happened to me before. It would blow the fuse, I'd have no VSS signal, and no more TCC lockup.

I'll check al the wires but why dont TCC engage in D, is it something in the valvebody or does the ECM gets some signal frpm the shifter?
