I just got a new transmission pan for 15.00 becasue it has a drain plug in it. How ever it does not have that magnet in it is there wa way i can put one in? Or will it not make any difference if i dont have one. I saw GM made some sort of transmission filter that picks up the metel pices. Is it really necessary to have that magnet?
