im swapping an 89 3.41 diff with 1le brakes into my 88 iroc-z with a borg warner 9 bolt 3.45 and rear disc. so far i have 4 jackstands, floor jack, gear oil, posi additive. and just a reg. tool box with the normal tools. will i need n e thing else? any special tools? will i have to do any modifactions to the new diff? do i need new calipers? cables brake lines etc etc?

Pretty simple in the scheme of things, just get the rear of the car as high as you can. I have some pads that I made from extra lumber I had laying around to set my stands on for extra height. Makes it nice when you can roll a rear out from under the car with the tires on if your working alone.
