Well it just seems strange to me that my transmission will shift and drive great for a while then it won't shift unless you put it in neutral and back into drive. Starting from a stop it will not shift out of first unless you either floor it and make the govenor shift it or as I said above, you put it in neutral, sometimes you have to do this more than once. I have changed the fluid and filter a couple of times to flush the old trans fluid out and checked the tv cable from the tb to the valve body. When I had the pan off the last time there was about a 1/4" of space between the tv cable cam and the tv plunger. Of coarse there is no fluid pressure on the plunger with the engine not running but I am curious if there should be a space there at all or if the fluid pressure would should take up the space when the engine is running.
