Hurst Quarter Stick & 700R4 ?

Ok I have used a Hurst Quarter Stick on a TH-350 in my last camaro but on this one I am going to use a Pro Built Automatics 700R4 With a Vacuum Lock Up Kit. In Place of the Current T-5, It is hitting the Road.
Now My question is for the lock up to work correctly its got to know when Your in 4th (OD) Does the Hurst Quarter Stick designed for a 700R4 have a 4th gear Switch.

The shifter has nothing to do with control of the TCC.

if you have it in 4th and put in in third, then it pulls the shifter cable and moves your linkage on your transmission from 4th to 3rd and it is all internal to your tranny.

The ECM doesn't care at all what position the shifter is in, it will lock up the TCC whenever it wants regardless. There is a 4th gear switch in the transmission that tells the ECM when the transmission actually shifts into 4th gear, but it doesn't seem to have much to do with the TCC.

The only switches on the shifter are for the reverse lights, which you'd need to be street legal, and the park/neutral switch, which you'd need to be legal at the track.
