Just a word to the wise. I just killed another converter. In 3 years I've now killed a B & M Holeshot and now a TCI Streetfighter thi morning. I used to race TCI and I never would hav believed I would break their converter,but I did. If you have lots of power choose your drivetrain wisely and don't skimp! See my sig for my combo.

 

What is you next converter going to be!!

maybe a Precision Industries "Vigilante" They are expensive but have a 2 year warranty and a couple of free stall changes form what I hear.

I am going to use this converter when I remove my T-5 and put a 700R4 back in.

I'm not sure yet, TCI wants me to ship the converter back so they can see it. They said they will rebuild it for about $150 since it's out of warranty. I want to find out more about the multidisc Vigilantes, that's what I'm looking at.

 

I decided on a single disc 2800 Stall Vigilante and ordered it through Thunder Racing with their weekend 10 % off promo.

 

Good choice, well worth the money.

 

Was going to say go with a Continental converter but looks like you've made your choice. I split open a stock converter with the 305 a couple years ago hehe oops. 6 inch split really sprays the fluid on the road.
