700R4 From a V6

Hello all;

will a 700R4 for a 92 V6 bolt up to 350? I'm swapping and some people have said yes and others have said no. Can some one please clarify. If they don't why? and is there a kit to make it work without having to go get another transmission?

Absolutely not, the bolt patterns are different.

No way to make that work at all. When I did my v6 > v8 swap the only part from the tranny that I used was the tailshaft.

Correct, just save the driveshaft, and may be the x-member.
