Car: 1988 Camaro
Engine: 355
Transmission: 700R4
Help my Transmission slips

I have a pretty new transmission from TCI which is a 700R4. I have a 2500 stall converter in it. my problem is this when I start my car It doesn't shift right. it slides in to gear. when the transmission warm up it shift fine I need help cant go race until this problem is fixed.

They said it could be the pump and then ask them isn't that under warrenty and they say no or internal gears and stuff like that. I really dont know much about transmission. If you could help me that would be great.
