The Stall on a Converter
Ok..I was looking at some stall converters on B&M and noticed that they come in different stalls. What does that mean. The stock one aparently is 1600 on my car. Does that mean up to 1600rpm the car won't move but after that RPM the car moves?
I tried researching this with how stuff works and now I understand how they work but they didn't cover the stall number.

Stall is when maximum torque multiplication in the converter occures. Theres many factors that go into getting the right stall. engine power, gearing, vehicle weight ect. Thats why your best bet is to call up the manufacturer and have them tell you what you should get. If they dont ask you questions about the above things along with some others ask for someone else.
