I just blew my built 700R4 and I think since I'm gonna tear it all apart no matter what, I want a 6spd and I can get a Viper's 6spd but what else do I need and have to do to complete this swap?

I know about the upper console and that the Viper's shifter is 2? inches forward compard to the F's T56. Also I know about getting the pedals but does the firewall already have the provisions stampped into them since the F's are universal cars for both sticks and autos?

Do I need to get a custom cross member?, a custom driveshaft?, torque arm?, are there any kits out there??

I want to do most of this swap myself so any info and detailed help and descriptions would be greatly appreciated.

 

You might find it cheaper to just run a t56 from a newer fbod; why do you want the viper unit?

Just what I can think of off hand you'll have to consider...
Input shaft; What clutch to run, what flywheel to use, etc
Tail shaft and hosing; What driveline will fit, How will your torque arm mount?
Trans mount itself
