if im not mistaken there is a little rubber seal there. perhaps it's old and cracked, or your dipstick is coming out.

If you try to move the dipstick around, is it loose?

Remove dipstick tube, replace rubber grommet, reinstall dipstick tube. Becareful when installing, the grommets tear very easily.

Loosen the bolt at the bellhousing (that holds the dipstick tube bracket) and pull it out.

yeah just loosen it up and pull it up about 3 inches then climb back under the car and replace the o ring on it if its not that leaking check the tv cable where it meets the trasmission sometimes they will leak there also and it also has an o ring on it
