Bolt Size question

Bolt Size question

Hey guys I need to know the size of the bolts that mount the tranny through the belhousing. Somehow my buddy lost the bolts on his and i have no idea what size they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. its the 4 larger bolts on the T5

10mm x whatever the "standard" (not fine) metric thread is for that diameter x 40mm long

those bolts just slide in.. their 2 thin, are you sure that's the size?

Try M12 x 1.75(pitch) x 40mm long. Make sure you use grade 8 (8.8 or 10.8 metric/ISO eqv.?) bolts.

BTW...I got that info directly from a Camaro Illustrated Parts book.

12.... sorry about that.... guess I should have gone and looked at them instead of trying to remember off the top of my head. They have 15mm hex heads, which is what usually goes with 10mm.

The top right one can be easier to put in if it's an original GM bolt because it has a Torx 45 or 50 in it and the 15mm head RB mentioned. I would get new GM ones myself.
