I bought a 88 sport coupe camaro 2.8 v6 with a 5-speed for $1000. The car needs some tlc, but it's well worth $1000. So here's the problem. The guy I bought the car from said the car needed a throwout bearing. He said when ya take off do it kinda fast. The rear hops and jumps. So I figured no problem I'll change that out. Coming to work...I slowed to almost a stop to 2nd...the car hopped and jumped like hell. I heard a loud pop and looked back and something fell off ol' Sugar Britches. I kept on going lol. I went back at lunch time and got the part still in the road. Turns out its the rear axle torque arm mount assembly. It broke off the from the real axle torque arm and crossmember. So my question is where do I get this peice? The guy at O'reilys said to get a chevy part number and he should be able to get it. Can anybody help me out?
