T56 Swap ? (i did a search)
ok its probably on here but i couldnt find anything. I have an 86 TA with a 700 r-4, and when i do the conversion, how do i get the speedo to work, cause mine isnt electric i think. Sorry if this has been posted, but i couldnt find anything

Basically three options to pick from:
1.) Replace speed with an electronic one. Add Dakota Digital box to provide output to ECM.
2.) Buy translator box from Abbott Labs http://www.atrol.com/cx_era.htm
3.) Have your T56 tailshaft housing modified by Jags That Run, to provide mechanical speed output.

holy **** thats expensive lol sry... what about the autometer summit pn :ATM-1488 Gauge, Designer Black with Red Pointer, 120 MPH, Electric, Programmable Speedometer, 3 1/8 in., Each will that work correctly without a box or anything like that?
