I have a 1991 Z-28 Camaro. I'm swapping in a th-350 and some of my friend's told me I need to get some part to use the tranny with fuel injection instead of a carb, any idea what they're talking about?

 

no, i bet they weren't able to name the part either. i'd also bet they've never done the swap or have any real knowledge of it do they? you might need a b&m kit for the torque arm but that has nothing to do with the induction system.

 

I order the torque arm from Sphoon. The tranny was installed on a 89 firebird so I have all the parts off that. They probably just said that because they want me to ditch the tpi setup and go carb.

 

They were probably refering to the kickdown cable. Most TH350 kickdown cables are designed for use with carb's. Lokar makes the correct kickdown cable specific for the TPI bracketry. I got mine from JEGS. Good luck!!
