SLP in NewJersey was selling them. Not sure if they still do, about 3 weeks ago I checked their web site and couldn't find it. Worth a call since they are close. Even had a damper on the front end of the shaft.

The other place would be Denny's in NY state. Web search will find the contact info.

RBob.

I contacted Hawk's about SLP and they stopped making Camaro/Firebird parts and moved on to our counterparts, Mustangs (How could they?!?!) I'll try this Denny's place though that you recommended.

LOLOLOL Surely your kidding about not understanding that....

HMMMMM Im a business owner...what do I do... Continue to make performance parts for a now defunct car line>>OR now that my contract has ended with GM for SS firehawk and WS6 ...I switch over to FORD who will continue to make mustangs for years AND who has a HUGE aftermarket following in comparison to the f-body...

Thats just 1 reason why when you open a jegs catalog that a mustang will have 15 pages and camaro/bird/vette has 1 to 2 pages topps...

Or for you racers... Go to a NMRA race...then go to an f-body only race... then ask yourself why a business would switch to the mustang market.. Im just surprised they did not switch to import market...thats where all the money is at right now..

I cant blame them 1 bit for switching...

yes, purely sarcastic, but dissappointing nonetheless.

I have my DS hanging in the garage at the moment waiting for paint. If you want I can measure the tube length for ya

Mine is for 700r4/10 bolt, SBC.

I have a dennys driveshaft heavyduty steel driveshaft. I dont race but I liked the idea of the high speed balance. My local driveshaft shop would not high speed balance the stock driveshaft and it had a bad vibration

Thanks, but I tried to give Denny's measurements of the drive shaft with it already removed but they need measurements with the drive shaft still installed. Regardless, I decided not to go with Denny's anyways bc they are on a back order of up to 2 weeks and i don't have the time to wait that long, but thanks anyways for the advice. I may go with them at a later date.
