Im getting ready to get a new tranny and im also gonna throw in a stall convertor. Im buying one off ebay, my question is, it says that it fits a 700R4 ranny, but is there anything else i need to look for, like it says the input splin is 30 and it has a torque convertor lock up. Also im thinking of going with a 2600-2800 stall, is this to much?

 

Just make sure that the TC you buy matches the tranny you have. If you have a 91' then your tranny is a 30 spline. IMO I would get one with the lock up. I got on off ebay with lock up and 2700rpm stall new for under $200.00.
