ok i lied, i double checked, my 3.08 RS had 10 bolts, my 2.77 iroc does have 9 bolts.
so what do i need? both were 2-series carriers.

What car is this for now, the IROC with 2.77's? If so you are almost SOL, parts for 9-bolts are hard to find and are expensive. Nothing that summit has will work.

Those won't fit either.... they're for a 3-series carrier. The 2.77 rear has a 2-series carrier.
AFAIK there are no "special" gears for the 9-bolt, and no ring gear spacers either. The ONLY way to upgrade a 2-series rear to 3-series gears, is to change out the carrier.
