Computer Flashing

I have a 1991 Camaro Z28 with a L98 350 motor and was wondering if I have to flash the computer to change the chip from a Auto to Manual once I do the T56 swap next spring. If anybody could explain to me in full (I am anewbie to the world of ECM's) what has to be done I would appreciate this. Sorry if you have seen a post similar to this by me in another section.

Theres noting to "flash" in our cars. They use a removable chip to change programming. Using the auto chip will work but it is recommended that you used a manuel chip to elimintate any possible trouble codes due to the loss of the tcc.
