anyone know how to easily check what gears i have or if someone knows what i have. i got a 91 RS 305 TBI. all stock. anyone know what rear-end gears ihave?

 

you need to get the codes out of the center console (if they are still there). the codes off of the RPO (Regular Production Option) sheet will tell you exactly what you have with everything on the whole car, if it is still stock. or you can pull the rear diff cover and count all the teeth. you will know you have found the correct sticker when you see a lot of codes...like GU2...in fact, that is a gear code, for 2.73 gears. put all these codes into the RPO decoder located on the front page and you will learn a lot about your car...

the only 100% sure way to know what you have is to pull the cover and look anything else is just a guess, educated or not.
