But is 350 dollars for a used 700R4, that is guaranteed to run, a good deal? Would it be cheaper to pull one off a junkyard? I'm not to sure but I need something that will bolt to a 305 (well just in case I get a 305)

 

ok heres my advice when it comes to trannys, if your cars a v6 standard is a must, if your car is a 305 it must be a stick, and if your car is a 350 it better be a damn standard

trust me learn how to drive stick and you'll never wanna go back to an auto again.

as far as buying a tranny for a 305, don't waste your time get the engine first build it up then worry about a tranny

 

I truely want to keep a stick. Price plays a factor though. If I can find the right transmission then hell I'll take the t5

Ok, I'm getting the 305 block Sunday.... I'll get some pics.... Lookin to get a rebuild kit for it...
