New 3.73's, posi and axles -WooHoo!

Well every dark cloud has a silver lining...my diff chewed itself up last weekend, apparently due to worn out axles causing too much endplay....anyway, a new posi carrier, a 3.73 crown and pinion set, 2 axles, all bearings, a brake job and $1600 later, -IT"S AWESOME!

I was a little worried because old post searches had a few people saying that even 3.73's were too much for a street car - No Way! Thay're perfect! Difference is very noticeable buy not excessive, and on the highway it was fine, turning about 1900 RPM at 100KM/HR (62MPH) Although I'm sure my speedo is even more out now than it was before

Hey man, nice I'm looking into putting a set of 3.73s into my LS1 rear end. I have 2.73s right now and found a deal on some 2-series 3.73s It'll be perfect for the LT1 intake, heads, and LT4 hot cam

I'm sure you'll be happy - I had 3.08's and noticed a big difference, going from 2.73's should be like night and day...Good luck....
