Did all 9 bolts come with Posi?
I just picked up a aspare from the E-Town swap meet. The unit is loose, I was under the impression that all 9 Bolts were posi rears. is this true? I expect to freshen it up and shim the cones but i want to be sure it is an actual limited slip.

My nine bolt came with two tags on the rear plate "use posi fluids" (or something to that effect, I'm at work right now) and a gearing tag that read 3.70.

Nope, not all 9 bolts were posi. Also, not all of them were disc brake rears. I've got a 3.08 non-posi drum brake 9 bolt under the all original '85 Firebird S/E I've got for sale at home. There's at least one other guy on the boards who has one just like that kicking around his garage. Since you've checked though, now you know that yours is posi...sorry on the gears though, that's no fun.
DJP87Z28: Just as an FYI the 9 bolt wasn't available until '85, the whole 9bolt/10bolt thing is a weird anomoly lol
