Want 3.73's...what are my choices?
I have been using the search for awhile now and haven’t really crossed an answer to my question….I am wondering what I should look for as far as what gears I can get…..when I changed my diff. fluid I noticed a tab that said I had a Borg Warner 3.27 diff. I know it’s a limited slip differential….anyways I am looking for in the area of 3.73 gears….what are my options as far as searching for applicable gears….I know it’s a 9 bolt….how about diameters, etc…..thanks in advance for replies…

There is only one diameter that will fit; it's the ones for a 9-bolt. 7.75". So don't worry about that any further. Either the gears are for the 9-bolt, or they're not.
Your options are extremely limited and they're not cheap.
Randy's R&P has some I think, and Drive Train Specialists I know does. http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com...s.php?catid=29

Check this out....Drivetrain Specialists has an EBAY page too.....seems that the price is better too....what else would I need for these to be installed?

Well what would you suggest......should I upgrade my 9-bolt or look for a different axle assembly......thnx

That ebay page is not the same company as the one I posted; and the gears on the page are for 7½" 10-bolt, not 9-bolt. So they're not the right thing.
I've never done business with those people on ebay. But I will say, I personally prefer to know who made my gears, and where; I don't want gears from China or India or Thailand, made by who knows who. I'd much rather have Dana or Richmond or Superior or Precision or GM Motive (AA&M) or US Gear (Strange). Instinct tells me that "Drivetrain Specialist brand" gears don't come from any of those sources.

Ok I agree with you on that... I was looking for Richmonds until I noticed that they didn't make any for the 9-bolts....
I still am unsure of what to do.....build this 9-bolt or find a 10 bolt and build it....
