t56 swappers

One quick question,,,I have a 91 camaro that I am doing the swap on, do I need the Dakota box?? Thanks Eric

yes, the only way I have heard about to get around this is if you have a 90-92 tpi 305/350 it is rumored you can burn a chip that will work

Well I do have a 91 that had a 350 tpi but now is a minirammed 383. I have heard that you dont need it for later models but you do for earlier ones. I will be having a new chipped burned once everything is done, thanks for the help, Eric

I can't remember what post is was in but, it bassically tells you what to change as far as the speedo signal part of the chip. I think it takes some trial and error so you may need to burn the chips your self
