Where can I get a 9-Bolt Carrier?
Since 9-Bolt.com is down now, where is the best/cheapest place to get a 3-Series carrier for my 9-Bolt?
Thanks,

This is why we advise people not to buy 2.77 geared 9-bolts.
Most likely you'll end up having to buy a whole 3-series rear, and take the carrier out, and throw away the rest of it; which doesn't make alot of sense, since you could just buy the 3-series rear and use it as is, and throw away the useless 2-series one instead, and not futz around with the labor and expense and risk involved in tearing down 2 rears and re-assembling one.

Definitely not the cheapest, but if you have the scratch, the last time I checked, there are still some in GM inventory (which would probably qualify as "best," therefore meeting one out of your two criteria).
