Torque Converter

Does anyone know what resister you would need to trick the electronics on a 700r4 automatic from a 91 Camaro so the torque converter does not throw a check engine light. I am swapping a T56 from a '94 into it and as far as I know the only electronics from the auto are the torque converter. Please let me know if I am wrong.

The VSS signal count from the T56 is nowhere near close to the signal the stock VSS puts out.

To properly do this swap, you should acquire the Dakota Digital signal conversion box (do a search here on thirdgen for "Dakota" in the transmissions forum)

and you should also check into the chip burning forum, because the car will need some tuning to run optimally with the 6 speed.

good luck with it!
