Hi all, hows things in the usa ?, well i have got a 92 bird with 3.1 v6 and a 5 speed manual (t5 i beleive), the tranny mount has gone and i refuse to pay £90 ukp for it to just go again in a years time. i heard somwhere that i can mod it and use the cross member and poly mount from a v8 auto , is this true? i have found some one in the uk who can supply this but theres no point getting it if it wont fit.

Yes the V8 one will fit and work, and will get rid of that "fluid-filled" mount they used on the 6-cyl cars.

 

thanks for that bud, im gona order it to day, i think the broken mount is the cause of all my driverbility issues, it bucks and jolts like crazy.
