For anyone with a service manual...

I could use the pages on setting up the rear. I know the procedure, but need torque specs, and I'd like to see about getting some of the alignment tools, but I dont have the tool numbers. My service manual got caught up in a fight with a former friend unfortunatly. I had this thing done, but the tards who did it, didnt put locktite o the pinion nut, retightening it has caused a nasty whine, so before it breaks, I want to set it up right (possibly for the first time!, I've been through 4 sets of gears!!!) My car is 1987, but I think the procedure hasnt changed in some time, so probably any year thirdgen will do. So if someone has the pages, could ya scan them and e-mail them to me? corry@unt.edu
Thanks
Corry

i'm confused, if you know how to do it what do you want a manual for? also you shouldn't need loctite on the pinion nut.

I guess I thought I was clear...Torque specs, and specialty tool numbers. I figured for completness someone might just scan the pages, since it seems many seem to skip important things in their readings, and a missing tool, or spec would mean another week w/o my car.

As for the loctite, it came loose recently, this is using a solid bearing spacer, not a crush collar, so I figured loctite wouldnt hurt...especially seeing as it came loose once already in less than 5K miles after being set up by a "professional"...

well nevermind....I ordered a new one...using part of my college refund...sometimes I wonder why I post in sections on TGO other than the engine swap and general tech. These days it seems less and less people are willing to help.

Thanks for nothing
