Vibration
Well I got the T/A running again but I got a vibration when you rev it in nuetral or hold her there about 2500-4000. After about 4,000 it goes away. It does the same thing going through the gears as well. I have a new torque arm mount and a transmission mount as well. Exhuast system is steady as a rock under the car as well.
This a stock 305 with a 5- speed that has had a rough life like locking up the tranny shifting to 5th gear at about 55 mph and breaking u-joints and other things. It broke an ear off the tranny but we had it welded back. It seems like the tranny went in easy enough. We struggled a little on the last half inch or so but it finally went in by pulling the clutch lever. Stock type clutch and flywheel as well. Everything looked OK.
You know the worst part of the job is taking the console and other dash parts out to get to the shifter. I hate taking all that stuff back out again.
The clutch works the best it ever has since we had the car especially since it has all new ball studs, z-bar and bushings.
