Torque arm mount lets try this again
OK stop laughin, I'm new at this site and learning. Posted a thread a few days ago but I guess the attachment file was to big so the entire message did not get posted. I thought it did so I sent a quick thread to follow it up, anyhow, here goes again. I'm looking for a torque arm mount for an 86 Camaro (see attachment). I only need the part on the left including the bolt that holds the two pieces together. I will buy the entire part, but I can't find one. The part with the long bolt attached (bolts directly to tranny) is still on the car. I guess the bolt came loose and the bolt and piece that "slips" into the tranny mounted part was lost somewhere on the road. Got a few reply's to my first thread, but I was not very specific. Any help sure would appreciated. The Camaro is my girlfriends car and she freaks out cause the torque arm is slammin the driver side floor board.

There are two different torque arms, one with the lips facing the driveshaft, and one with the lips facing away from the driveshaft. In your pic the rubber bushings are setup for the torque arm that faces away from the driveshaft.
Check the current torque arm lip direction in order to get the correct part. Another angle is that there _may_ be a difference in the mount between an auto and stick. I don't know.
Once you know what style part you need I suggest that you place a 'wanted' post in the classifieds.
And welcome aboard, lots of good info on TGO.
RBob.
