Big CLUNK

Hi-
So I noticed the other day while driving my 97 formula with the LT1 and the 4 speed auto (I think its called a 4l60e or something of the likes, im just a dumb noob) That when I nailed it at low rpms a huge clunking noise came from the passenger side underneath the arm rest. It sounded like something just dropped.
Also, suppose I'm at a standstill. If I burn out, itll clunk and then continue to kind of... well you can feel it vibrating sort of spinning in the same spot as the clunk as rpms climb, the frequency of vibration climbs also. I don't notice any problems when I don't nail it, but it's hard not to nail it in an F-body

Does anyone know what could be causing this noise, and if so, how to fix it?

Thanks for your help!

I guess the trans mount. The noise is probably caused by the tail end of the tranny or the driveshaft contacting the tunnel. The mount is what holds the tranny to the crossmember. Without it the tranny lifts when you apply throttle. This can possibly damage to any wiring near the tranny/motor, possibly damage the driveshaft when it hits, possibly strain the y-pipe and cause exhaust leaks, and it puts dents in the floorpan/tunnel if it hits hard enough. I dont recommend punching again it until you replace the bushing/mount. I replaced my broken one a few weeks ago, $6 and I can do burnouts again.
