put this out here before, and someone responded with the line size for the tranny cooler lines, but i need to know what size the FITTINGS are, like a -6 or something? the fitting that screws into the cooler and tranny itself... thanks.

Are we talking about running braided stainless steel lines With AN fittings? if so they are sized like you said, 6 AN is a 3/8 hard line.... take the an size and divide by 16 you and you have your size. 8 AN is 1/2 pipe. 6 AN line and fittings will work fine for your tranny cooler, although im not sure if the trans lines are 3/8 or a little smaller. Are you going to run hard line to the cooler? And now heres what comes out of the fortune cookie : Need more info for better answer

 

well, i was going to replace the rubber trans lines with the same or better, but upon further review, looks like i'll be going back to hard lines. i had put the rubber ones on a while back cuz i got tired of messing with the others, but... so i needed to get the fittings for the ends of the lines, hence the question.
