TH-350 = GM Turbo 350

I know this a very simple and or dumb question to u guys. but is a TH-350 and GM turbo 350 the same thing? the reason i ask this is because i had my transmisson replaced not to long ago with something that could handle the power from my 383. the transmission shop always refered to it as a GM turbo 350 and when i look up parts i only find listings to TH-350.

thanks
