Posi Conversion

I got a peg legged one wheel wonder right now, and I need posi to go in this winter for next summer...I wanna know the easiest and most cost effective way...I'm gonna get new gears too, 3.73's i think....i was thinking about getting this http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...58&prmenbr=361 ...what do you guys think of it? or should i get a limited slip unit from auburn or something?

OK. lockers are great for race cars. On the street, they clunk, rattle and generally raise hell. So get a limited slip unit. Probably what will happen is that the little bolt that holds the center pin in will break off anyway when you go to change it, especially if it's seen any hard use. So.. the 3.73 gears is a good street gear, just make sure that since the speedo will be off, it won't mess up your car's computer, or , if it does, get it recalibrated. Reider sells the gears, posi and install kit which is superior to the factory stuff. While your there change out the axle bearings and seals as well.
As far as installing the unit, it will take special tools to install the gears so you'll end up paying for it.
