Facing a decision need help?

My world class T5 is starting to act up. I have 3 options that i can thank of since i want to stay manual. One is rebuild the T5 and put stronger guts in it. Two buy a good tremec. Three do a T56 swap. Right now i have whats in my sig performance wise but with in the next few months i will have a 177 blower and a set of AFR's. I am looking for which one u thank will hold up and the best bang for my in the long run. Any opinons?

Transmission: 5 speed
The t56 is nice, but the Tremec will do the job and it is probably less expensive. If you want a 6speed then the t56 is the way to go. If you want to get real frisky in the HP department check on a Doug Nash (now Richmond) 5 speed. You may find it comparable in price once you buy all of the pieces.

The Tremec TKO is one strong piece of equipment. If you want to keep it a stick, this is the way to go. It will bolt right in a third gen with no problem. Im not sure if a T-56 is an easy bolt in though.

I agree with brutal form. The tremec is a tough trans and they shift like butter!
